The experience
A 4.5km GPS audio thriller following the real history of William Burke and William Hare along the Union Canal from Falkirk High to the Falkirk Wheel. Walk through the landscape where Burke and Hare genuinely worked, as the story moves from canal construction and the harsh world of the navvies into the notorious crimes that made their names infamous. Historical fact, human stories and dark atmosphere combine in a location-triggered journey through Falkirk's past.

Begin at Falkirk High Station. Follow the route towards the Union Canal and Falkirk Wheel. Your first story checkpoint will unlock when you reach the starting area.
