The story follows a young boy named Franky Brown, who has recently moved to a strange new town called Freaky. Franky is devastated to leave his best friend, Dani, behind, and he stays in touch by writing her a series of letters. Everything changes when a bizarre storm hits the town. Unlike any normal storm, it brings strange green lightning, powerful thunder, and a strange smell. The green lightning strikes Franky’s street, charging the houses with a mysterious energy while the local children sleep. Following that night, the kids on Franky's street begin to change. One by one, they become unusual and develop extraordinary, magical superpowers—such as turning invisible, shrinking, or even transforming into a shark. Inspired by his favourite comic book super-spy, Zack Danger, Franky helps form The Danger Gang to investigate the mystery and protect the town from the real dangers ahead.
